The Hickman Mills C-1 School District (HMC-1) celebrated a major milestone with the grand opening of the district’s new Real-World Learning Center on Monday, September 30. Located at 10301 Hickman Mills Dr. in Kansas City, MO, this marks the first new building to open in the district in over a decade, signaling a bold step forward in innovative education and community development.

Hickman Mills C-1 School District is delighted to announce that it is offering complimentary Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for all HMC-1 families. The classes are hosted at Hickman Mills Middle School, located at 9010A Old Santa Fe Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138, and occur every Thursday until December 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the Coach of the Week honors for the second week of the 2024 season. The Week Two awards went to Ruskin High School Head Coach Tim Callaghan (Missouri) and Blue Valley West High School Head Coach Josh Koerkenmeier (Kansas).
